                  British Legend Classic
The British Legend Classic amplifier offers some additional features that are unique. 100W in the very small size case (16,2x10,2x9,0 inch) and an acceptable weight 38 lbs, provide an easy handling with lots of power inside. By perfect placement of the components and special hand-wired audio wiring each amplifier contains two legendary sounds with lots of switching options. The completely new Power Wizard design offers plenty of sounds within each channel. This Power Wizard circuit is not only a reduction of the output power, it can make each sound better by overdriving the main amplier at lowest output levels. The British Legend Classic amp is completely made by hand with attention to detail in my workshop. The wooden case is made of birch multiplex, top quality. All metal parts (except corners) are made of stainless steel (chassis, logo, front panel, rear panel, ventilation panel) and are specially designed for the British Legend Classic. All work: production and assembly, installation of all components, wiring and testing are exclusively made in our workshop. Only high quality, selected components are used. Amp, design, circuit, construction, wiring, sounds, stainless steel layouts as well as the complete design by Ulrich Rodenberg.
                  Power Wizard - Infinitely variable
The Power Wizard is the heart of the British Legend Neo Classic. The power attenuation is based on a completely new one circuit design. By the slider potentiometer under the RODENBERG logo you can adjust the power output step by step from 100W - 1W. The result: main amplifier compression even at small volumes. The dialed in output power is shown by 3x Vintage Nixie tubes. This results in plenty of sound variants: For a standard amp with gain and volume, you normally adjust the gain for overdrive and the volume potentiometer for main volume. With the Power Wizard you can adjust the output power of the British Legend Classic amp to any power level. This allows you to set the volume control of a channel until maximum, so you can ovedrive the main amplifier. With the Power Wizard slider you now can adjust the output power of the amplifier to any volume. Means, you can overdrive the main amplifier with Gain and Volume potentiometer to get distorted and and saturated sounds and then adjust the main output power by the Power Wizard to get the sound at any output volume. • No more heights or sound losses with small volumes because you can adjust the volume control of your channel wide up and then reduce the overall volume by the power wizard. • From half to maximum setting of the volume control of a channel you do not get more volume but compression and more Gain => the main amplifier is overdriven and by the Power Wizard even at the smallest output volume. This is the sound on a fully overdriven amplifier. In combination with Gain, Volume and Power Wizard you can get plenty of sounds with each channel.   • The Power Wizard slider can also work as the master volume potentiometer of the British Legend Classic amplifier. • With the Power Wizard you can also dial down the Gain control lower than usual and dial up the Volume control to get more main amplifier gain. So you get great rock sounds with a lot of definition. • A once set sound at home sounds exactly the same on stage, simply raise up the Power Wizard slider.
• FX Loop • Serial • 12ax7 buffered => Fx loop switchable on amplifier and foot switch The FX Loop is situated between the pre-amplifier and the main amplifier, buffered by a 12ax7 tube. At its output the signal is Low impedance so you can use long connection cables without a loss of sound. The return jack can be used as an input to the the main amplifier. The FX Loop can be switched ON/OFF by a switch on the rear of the amplifier or by a  foot switch (not included). Activated (without effect device), (almost) no sound difference can be recognized.
• British: Gain - Volume - Bass - Middle - Treble - Gain Boost => Legendary British Rock Sound + Gain Boost The British and the Legend Channel uses the same EQ. The British sound is an optimized JCM800 sound. His goal is the medium overdrive sound with special heights, always a straight rock sound, perfect for rhythm. The sound that you can hear on thousands CD‘s. With a Gain Boost toggle switch you get a more singing overdrive sound, perfect for lead sounds. When you use the British sound with the Power Wizard you can get three times more overdrive and compression if wanted. This is the real overdrive sound when you play a tube amp on his maximum volume, but here you have the same sound at any volumes from 100W to 1W silence mode.

                       FX Loop
• Main amplifier damping switch - High/Low => For bluesy rocking or fast sounds with plenty of gain. You will find the damping switch on the rear panel. The circuit works direct in the main amplifier section. If you like more bluesy rocking medium overdive sounds set this swich to Low. If you like fast, very distorted sounds set this swith to High. In the end it‘s all a question of your own taste.

• DI Output level - adjustable Here the complete sound can be taken directly. The level of the signal can be adjusted by the output level control. You can use a Speaker Simulation box or send the whole signal of the amplifier to other equipment. Attention: A speaker must always be connected!
            DI Output
• 3-way selector switch for 4 / 8 / 16 impedance - 2 jacks for speaker => On the rear you can find the 3-way impedance switch for connecting all kids of speaker cabinets. the two jacks are wired in series. Be sure to dial in the same impedance as you cabinet has!

• 1959 Plexi: Gain - Volume - Bass - Middle - Treble - Gain Boost => Legendary British Rock Sound The 1959 and the 2203 sound uses the same EQ. The British sound is an optimized 1959 Plexi sound. His goal is the slightly overdrive sound with special heights, always a straight rock sound, perfect for rhythm. With the added Volume control clean sounds are no problem for the 1959 channel. When you use the British sound with the Power Wizard you can get three times more overdrive and compression if wanted. This is the real overdrive sound when you play a tube amp on his maximum volume, but here you have the same sound at any volumes from 100W to 1W silence mode.
